Xoli Zondi has sort of become a household name for her character Zodwa on Generations. The actress became known as the psychotic woman who was obsessed with Nicholas on the show. She left the SABC 1 soapie for a while is now back in action and believes that this is all because of her fans.
She told Daily Sun: “I wouldn’t be here if it were not for them. “I’m very thankful to them. I love playing the role of Zodwa because I can play by my own rules." She added that she's happy to be back on Generations.
Xoli, who got her first acting gig on Family Bonds, said she realised that she wanted to become an actress when she was still in matric. The 30-year-old actress then studied drama at the Durban University of Technology.
She told the paper: "I didn’t know I could do this on a professional level but my eyes were opened when I started learning a lot about the industry and what it had to offer." It seems acting is the only thing she's focused on right now as she revealed that she is currently single and not looking for anyone right now. “I’m focused on my career."
