Yay! Janez Vermeiren's dog has been found!

Johannesburg - After four days of searching, Janez and his family have finally been reunited with their missing dog, Mitch.

Mitch, who belongs to Janez's son Matisse, went missing late last week, sparking a frantic search for the brown Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Both Janez and a heartbroken Matisse took to social media to offer a reward for any info that could bring back their beloved dog.

REWARD OFFERED: Our Ridgeback "Mitch" ran away from kennels located btw Malibongwe Drive and Beyers Naude direction Lanseria. Pls message me should anyone have seen him!!

I'm heart broken about losing my best friend Mitch and the best dog in the world. I'm praying that he will return because I can't live without him????

And it seems like it’s not just Disney movies that have happy endings. Mitch was soon found and returned to the Vermeiren family!

Our dog has been found! He survived 4 days and nights in the wild. I'm so happy the people who found him can really use the reward! Thank you everyone for all the help and concern. @matissemotz is over the moon!!

And as happy as we are to see him home safe...it seems nobody is more excited about Mitch’s return than little Vincent.
