Johannesburg - When love goes sour it generally ends in tears and broken hearts ...not broken windows.
According to Sunday Sun, Lerato Masia has been 'stalking' his ex, Pinky Mkhonto, ever since the pair broke up and allegedly verbally and physically abuses her in public.
Pinky says it all got too much recently when Lerato met her and her friends at a night vigil and demanded to see her.
When she refused, he threatened to 'burn my house with my family inside it," she claims.
When she returned to her home in the early hours of the morning, she says found her house windows broken and her whole family awake. They were talking to neighbours, who had claimed to have seen Lerato jumping the fence after breaking the windows.
"I called him to ask why he's behaving like that, and he said he'll be coming back to burn down my house," Pinky told the paper.
This is not the first time Lerato has been going around smashing windows. Last year he was accused of smashing not only Pinky's car windows, but also her then boyfriend's house windows.
The paper claims that police have opened a case of malicious damage to property and that the matter is under investigation.
