Drum magazine is reporting that the songstress is allegedly giving a mechanic the run-around.
The mechanic, Carestone Louw, claims that Zahara took her car to him to fix twice after a night of alleged 'binge-drinking' but has failed to honour the payments.
The mechanic explained to the magazine that every time he calls Zahara or her former drummer, Tino Dama who was with the singer on both nights, they give him excuses.
When Drum called Tino he admitted that Zahara was drinking and driving but denied the mechanic's claims. "Zahara had been drinking and driving but it wasn't that bad because I helped her drive as I don't drink," he said.
Zahara's manager, Katlego Mokoena threatened to sue the magazine if it published the story. Katlego said that Zahara admitted knowing the mechanic but refuted claims that she didn't pay him.
