Zahara dreams of selling a million records

Johannesburg - While most artists are dreaming of making a million, songbird Zahara has bigger plans to sell a million records.

Reflecting on the success of her most recent album, Country Girl, Zahara believes she could have sold a million records if it wasn't for the fong kong copies of her album being sold.

She says that her debut album "could have" sold a million, while her second album really "should have". So, now Zahara wants to go all the way and finally make the step up from multi-platinum artist to one who has sold over a million records- a feat achieved by very few South African artists, including Brenda Fassie.

Zahara's latest album was certified platinum within two weeks of its release last month, and is well on its way to going multi-platinum. So, a million copies is definitely possible.

And if Cassper can achieve his dream of filling up the dome, there's no reason why Zahara can't get hers!
