Zonke: "I'm grateful for all that I have"

Zonke has achieved quite a lot in her career as a singer. She's won many awards, her first live DVD Give and Take went gold in a few months and she's now a judge on X Factor SA. The songstress was on 3 Talk with Noeleen where she revealed that she has a lot to be thankful for.

"I've done so much. Now I'm a judge on X Factor. What more do I want, really. I'm grateful for all that I have. When I look at all my years - I look at last year and the year before - I was happy. I didn't know that I didn't have all that I wanted because I was in a good space."

Although she's in a good space now, Zonke has had her fair share of challenges in the industry. So, how does she cope during hard times?  "You still go through those motions. Up and down, feeling great and not so great... I have good friends and a family, especially my sister Lulu. She added that Lulu always reminds her of how far she has come. "I'm learning and I'm a work in progress."

She also mentioned that she's growing in her faith. "I've learnt to let God guide me more and not want to use my non-existent strength. God's timing is always perfect," she told Noeleen.
