Johannesburg- Everyone knows that being in the entertainment industry isn't a walk in the park. 

Just ask Amanda du-Pont. 

Over the past few years Amanda has seen the good and the bad that comes with being in the spotlight. 

Amanda has in the past opened up about how people ridiculed her when she first joined Skeem Saam, then there was that Swazi princess debacle and let's not forget Cassper publicly shading her. 

But that's all in the past and Amanda is living her dream. 

"My drive is one of a survivor...survived the worst! And today I'm making the best of my life. May all you have been through mould and push you to what you are meant to be," Amanda said.
