Johannesburg - Maybe you've seen him burning up the decks, viewable from a distance like a veld fire. You might like it, but AJ's latest antics have daddy Arthur Mafokate a little worried.

Arthur Junior, or DJ AJ if you prefer, has been tearing up the decks across the country this past festive season - if not for his sharp DJ Skills than for his party trick of setting himself alight!

And after snaps of AJ burning on stage made its way to daddy, Arthur took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the stunt.

"As a father this worries me, it scares me, THIS FIRE THING," he wrote, before acknowledging that it might actually have its benefits.

"I guess that's why he gets a lot of bookings:combining his DJing skills, good song selection and entertainment value when watching him play - I am proud of DJ AJ," he added.

Still, we bet this is one stage trick he won't be encouraging anytime soon.

Perhaps it's safer to stick to handstands, AJ?
