Asanda Foji's Generations exit causes a stir on Twitter

Johannesburg- Asanda Foji's journey with Generations:The Legacy officially came to an end on Tuesday night. 

It was announced a few months ago that the actress, who played Simphiwe, would no longer be part of the soapie. 

But her exit from the show in Tuesday night's episode caused a social media storm. 

Even though fans will miss her, the episode definitely got people talking, which resulted in the soapie trending on Twitter for over 10 hours.

Her character was finally set to tie-the-knot to her boyfriend, but didn't make it down the aisle as she killed herself. 

Wedding or no wedding, their relationship wasn't a bed of roses to begin with as both of them cheated on each other in the storyline.
