Boity: Christmas is a big family affair

Johannesburg - Christmas is all about special family time for Boity Thulo.

The TV presenter says since moving to Joburg, she always makes a point of returning to Potchestroom where her family is.

Speaking to The Juice, Boity says her family is her priority. “I go home to Potch and spend it with my family and my grandparents. We get everyone together and every year we go to someone else’s house.”

Boity says that on Christmas morning, all the children open the gifts and read the cards. “I don’t think this is something we usually did – especially as black people. We’d normally cook food and chill. But now, with life being better, we can show even more appreciation for people.”

She says her wishes for 2016 are simple: “More love, more for my career and more peace.”
