Boity on Cassper: We're in it for the long run

Johannesburg - Boity caught everyone’s attention recently when she posted a snap of herself with a baby, and revealed that she can't wait to be a mom. (More on that). And the baby plans seem to be in full motion.

Talking to Gareth Cliff on his CliffCentral show on Monday morning, Boity came clean on her future plans. “I know I want max four children."

“I want to have four because I don’t want them to experience the subconscious loneliness. It’s not like a loneliness you feel every day. You don’t know what it feels like to have siblings, so you don’t know what you're longing for. You know there’s something that’s kind of missing. I don’t want that feeling for my child so I definitely want more than one,” she adds.

Boity was an only child and was raised by her gran.

On her and Cassper

Talking about her relationship with Cassper, she says that it may have been a mistake to be so public about her relationship with Cassper, but that the couple are fine (despite rumours to the contrary).

Rating her relationship as 7 out of 10 at the moment, Boity says that Cassper's crazy work schedule has meant their relationship has taken "a massive backseat." But she has had to be understanding.

"It feels like we're in it for the long run. We just know what's going to slow it down and it's not what people say. The only thing we know for a fact is that our careers are the only thing that would get in the way," she says.

On being a Hollywood star

Boity says she has always dreamed of becoming an actress, and has been thinking about possibly plying her trade overseas.

"It’s been in the back of my mind over the last year and a half, but things keep coming up. Work keeps coming up and there’s certain things I can’t say no to because you don’t know what will happen there - it could fail miserably," she says.

"Hopefully, I’ll find the time where I really commit to it and say no to everything else and just go there, even if it’s just for 6 months,” she says.

We'll pack our bags, Boity!
