Johannesburg- Controversial radio personality Gareth Cliff has come under fire on Twitter after he weighed in on the Penny Sparrow racist post debacle.
Over the past few days, people across the country have been up in arms over a Facebook post by estate agent, Penny Sparrow.
The post quickly went viral on social media and has been trending for the past two days. In the post, Penny refers to black people as "monkeys." (Read more on that here)
Hundreds of people, including high-profile celebrities, have taken to social media to share their views on the post.
On Monday afternoon Gareth found himself trending on Twitter after users dug into him for his opinions on the matter.

This obviously didn't sit well with Twitter users who lashed out at Gareth labelling him "racist," and calls for Idols SA to remove him as a judge.
