Johannesburg - Estate agent, Penny Sparrow found herself in hot water when her Facebook post about black people on the beach went viral.
The racist post was picked up and quickly spread across social media, especially as Penny refers to black people as "monkeys" in the post.
The topic began trending on Twitter shortly after, with hundreds giving their views on her post.
She has since apologised, but unfortunately for Penny it seems that no one is really ready to forgive and forget her half hearted apology just yet.
And naturally some of the strongest (and funniest) comments came from our celebs.
Funny how people make racial comments, then apologize afterwards as if the apology is good enough.I don't accept YOUR apology #PennySparrow

Seems like this #PennySparrow is the one who is "underprivileged" (intellectually) and needs the "help" she claims to give!!

#PennySparrow is probably looking for the biggest hole to swallow her now or the next flight out to ... Sad people like her still exist.

So where exactly is the apology? #PennySparrow pic.twitter.com/f60iDShacL

That #PennySparrow apology is reminiscent of a classic "I'm not racist because my best friend is black" apology but with no tact whatsoever.

Maybe #PennySparrow was just really pissed off that no one made fun of her name in #TheYearWeMispronounceBack

Dear #PennySparrow If you can't stand "monkeys" then Africa is a wrong continent for you. #RacistsMustFall pic.twitter.com/2bPWwW8OKj
