Could DJ Sbu be planning a musical comeback?

Johannesburg - It seems like forever ago (in a galaxy, far, far away) that DJ Sbu decided to put his music career on ice to focus on his media and entrepreneur projects.

But the artist who dominated playlists a few years ago, both as a solo artist and as the long-rumoured man behind the famous Mzekezeke mask, returned to the studio this week for what fans hope is a happy musical reunion.

Teaming up with hit producer Robbie Malinga, DJ Sbu says he's missed making music.

"It's been over 3 years. I miss making music.#MusicChangedMyLife," he wrote on Instagram.

The post gave fans a glimpse of hope, with many asking if he is planning to release a new solo project this year.
