DJ Cleo would still love to sign Idols runner- up

Johannesburg - He's been one of her biggest fans and even produced a song for her, and DJ Cleo remains hopeful that one day he will be able to sign Idols runner-up, Mmatema Moremi.

The hitmaking producer "might not be able to sign her due to contractual commitment with Mnet/Universal etc" but in the aftermath of her loss to new Idols winner, Karabo Mogane, he was full of praise for the popular songbird.

"Sometimes GOD does not give you what you want because his plans for you are bigger than the small plate you have... 2015 is the year @mmatema_moremi laid a solid foundation, and 2016 is the year she builds a solid structure brick by brick as she moves to the top," Cleo wrote, before congratulating Karabo on the win.

Cleo promised that he will keep an eye out for Mmatema, and will continue to guide her along her musical journey.

And with Cleo's successful career as a mentor, we think she'll be in great hands... as long as he doesn't get her to do a Ben 10/uGogo follow up single.
