Johannesburg- Fans have called on the SABC to bring back Zola's popular reality show, Zola 7.
The show aimed to inspire young people to follow their dreams by giving a person a taste of his or her dream each week.
Zola 7 became one of the SABC's flagship shows raking in millions of viewers. However, it was eventually canned more than five years ago as it became extremely difficult to secure sponsorship each week.
After the show was canned it saw Zola being away from the spotlight for five years before he returned last year as the presenter of Mzansi Magic's reality show, Utatakho.
After just a few months on the show, Zola was replaced. The official line was that his 'schedule was too hectic' but as previously reported, The Juice understands he had a fall out with management after apparently trying to secure deals for his own company.
But all of that has been left in 2015! This year some of Zola's loyal fans want the SABC to bring him back.
There's even a campaign poster currently doing the rounds on social media, which is fast gaining momentum.
Well, SABC the fans have spoken. The ball is now in your court!
