Johannesburg - He's seen by many as the rockstar of SA gospel, and it seems Andile Kamajola wants to test the theory by seeing if his loyal fans will help him fill up Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Perhaps taking a cue from another Mzansi musician, Cassper Nyovest, Andile has a grand plan to fill up the 80 000 seater stadium when he performs there next month, and has been filling social media with the hashtag #FillUpMosesMabhida.
The performance, which will be recorded for a live DVD, is set to take place on 4 December. And in case the R50 entrance fee wasn't enough of an incentive, Andile has promised to give away a brand new car on the day!
Like Cassper, Andile will be able to call on a thousands of loyal and devout fans who are even organised into provincial supporters clubs.
In fact, it was these supporters who were reported to have stirred trouble at the recent Crown Gospel Awards (where fans were reported to have clashed with police after Andile arrived late for the ceremony).
Let's hope his fans are a little better behaved this time around.
