Former Miss SA shares her holy relationship secret

Cape Town – Former Miss SA, Bokang Montjane, took to social media on Monday to share the secret behind her relationship with soccer player Siphiwe Tshabalala.

The model, who was crowned Miss South Africa in 2010 and represented SA at the Miss Universe 2011 and Miss World 2011 pageants, revealed her relationship secret on her Instagram account accompanied by a photo of her and Siphiwe praying in the mist of the Victoria Falls in Zambia.

“A couple that prays together stays together,” Bokang wrote.

She added: “Thank you for being my praying partner, for dreaming my dreams with me and always believing in me. May we continue to be rooted in Gods word! A Modimo o maatla ! May you shine and excel in all you do and I pray that God continues to show off with you.”

The couple have a son named, Owethu Orefile Temo, together.

Bokang and Siphiwe met at the Kaya FM studios in 2011. "Siphiwe was leaving the station after an interview and I was arriving for mine. We ended up taking pictures together because he asked for one, and then when he asked for my number I refused," Bokang revealed during an appearance on Katch It With Khanyi in 2015.

She added that Siphiwe actually stole her number to get in touch with her. "Yes he stole my numbers. He asked the people at Kaya FM who obviously refused, but after much begging and pleading, Siphiwe managed to get my number."
