Johannesburg - TV personality Zizo Beda and Home Affairs spokesperson Mayihlome Tshwete's glamorous wedding celebrations took place in East London over the weekend, with high-profile political figures and celebrities in full attendance.
Security had to be beefed up around the area as ministers including Malusi Gigaba (Home Affairs) and Nomvula Mokonyane (Water Affairs) as well as former police commissioner, Bheki Cele and ANC spokesperson Zizi Kodwa all attended the celebrations.
DispatchLive earlier reported that President Jacob Zuma was expected to attend, however at the time of publishing this article that could not be confirmed.
Zizo and Mayihlome, who is the late Steve Tshwete's son, got married at the St. Saviours Anglican Church. Guests later moved to the luxurious Gonubie Manor for the reception.
Zizo, who for the first time showed off her growing baby bump, wore a traditional white long-sleeved dress and a veil.
