Joyous Celebration's Sbu Noah hospitalised

Johannesburg - Joyous Celebration artist, Sbu Noah had a day with the doctors on Monday.

It seems that the gospel star has fallen ill and was rushed to the Meldene Medical Centre in Melville, Johannesburg for treatment, but doctors could not fix the condition immediately.

Instead they gave him a couple of injections and put him on a diet of painkillers until he goes in for a procedure on Wednesday.

Unfortunately, like us, Sbu is not the biggest fan of needles and had to work up the courage to take the injections.

"The lady who gave me the injections says she's met a lot of people scared of injections but I'm the king of all! It took us 15 min per injection I don't know how many times I asked to stand, then lay down, then ask to stand again, then lay down," he recounted on his Instagram.

Fans were quick to offer prayers and well-wishes for Sbu, but it looks like he should be at 100 percent health and back on the ark really soon!
