K.O opens up about being snubbed at music awards

Johannesburg- K.O has been left out in the cold at this year's Metro FM Music Awards.

This is not the first time that the rapper has apparently been snubbed at prestigious awards ceremonies.

He took to Instagram detailing how this has become the story of his life.

But K.O says he's taking it all in his stride.

"We submitted the songs to be considered but sadly didn't make the Metros nominations list. Being overlooked at these award ceremonies (s/o SAMA) has been the story and fuel behind my solo journey. I feed off of that. Soldiers don't bitch about scars picked up on the battlefield, they simply soldier on!," he wrote.

Good for you!

Congratulations to all those nominated at the Metros this year!!! My album came out late 2014 yet it spawned singles that made a resounding impact in 2015 #SkhandaLove #OneTime I owe the success of those singles to all the media channels who made them as big as they became including #MetroFM ??. Thank u to the fans as well for the support! We submitted the songs to be considered but sadly didn't make the Metros nominations list. Being overlooked at these award ceremonies (s/o SAMA??) has been the story and fuel behind my solo journey. I feed off of that. Soldiers don't bitch about the scars picked up on the battlefield, they simply soldier on! F*ck a flash wound, there's a war to win! New album out 2016! Love always #SkhandaGawd
