Prayers pour in for critical Generations actor

Johannesburg - Prayers of hope and well wishes continue to pour in for Generations: The Legacy actor, Rapulana Seiphemo on Tuesday morning. This after he was involved in a serious car accident on Sunday night, leaving him in a critical condition in hospital.

The actor was involved in a fatal accident which claimed the lives of two people on the N14 near Diepsloot on Sunday. He along with one other person was rushed to hospital. At the time, paramedics confirmed he was in a critical condition and had been taken to Milpark Hospital.

The SABC issued a statement late on Monday afternoon, confirming the accident. "Rapulana Seiphemo, the actor who plays Tau Mogale has unfortunately been in an accident. He is however recovering in a Johannesburg hospital. We would like to request that we all afford the family space to deal with the trauma, Rapulana is a fighter, he'll definitely pull through."

It's believed that he underwent emergency surgery on Monday afternoon, with family and friends gathering at the hospital forming prayer circles.
