Johannesburg - Fans may soon have to find their Monday night football fix without the help of Minnie Dlamini and Thomas Mlambo.
According to reports in Sowetan this week, Minnie Dlamini and Thomas Mlambo could soon be on their way out, as their show Soccer Zone prepares to undergo a dramatic facelift.
An insider told the paper that the show has been dropping viewers, and will next month be replaced by a shorter show that will have only highlights and no presenters.
"Things have never been the same since Robert left (in 2006) and when they hired Thomas, they thought he could steady the whole thing but even his arrival did little to change things around. Even the introduction of Minnie didn't help, because she doesn't know anything about football, " the source adds.
SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago confirmed to the paper that there will be schedule changes across the SABC's television channels but insisted that no final decision had been made on Soccerzone.
But what's a Monday night without Minnie?
