Johannesburg- Things between Uhuru band members reportedly took a turn for the worse recently.

Speculation has been rife since the beginning of this year that the popular house group may be splitting up. (Read more on that here

The group which is made up of Maphorisa, Mapiano, DJ Buckz, Xeli and Tiro have fiercely denied the rumours.

Sunday Sun is reporting that things came to a blow between the band members at Arthur Mafokate's Can Do Festival.

Apparently Arthur booked DJ Buckz and Maphorisa to perform at the festival. The paper is reporting that things got ugly when the other members got to the festival to find Buckz and Maphorisa performing Uhuru songs.

Apparently the other three members stormed onto stage and dragged Bucks and Maphorisa off.

"They started swearing at each other - then Xeli landed a warm klap on Maphorisa," a source told the paper.

The source added that the other members were fuming over them performing Uhuru songs.

Mapiano apparently confirmed the incident to the paper.

"I can't comment on what happened last week. I still need permission from the other guys to talk about it," he explained.

Arthur would not comment on the incident saying he has no knowledge of it.
