Johannesburg - According to reports in Daily Sun this week, pregnant gospel star Montana Mhlongo has been rushed to hospital with pregnancy complications.
According to the reports, Montana, who is two months pregnant, was taken to the King Edward VIII Hospital in Durban on Sunday complaining of stomach cramps. She was later diagnosed with a condition in which the foetus develops outside the womb, called an ectopic pregnancy.
Speaking to the paper, Montana says she is set to have an operation on Friday.
"This will be the third operation as I suffered two miscarriages previously. It’s sad to lose a child as kids are a blessing from God. Being married and having these miscarriages really traumatises me," she says.
Montana says that her miscarriages have caused a lot pain to her and her husband, and she is praying for divine intervention to help her through her childbearing struggles.
"Though my husband has been supportive over the years it’s always painful to go through this again. Having continuous miscarriages definitely hurts many people who are close to me,” Montana said.
