Johannesburg- Generations:The Legacy actor Rapulana Seiphemo is reportedly fighting for his life at Milpark Hospital after being involved in a car crash near Diepsloot on Sunday night.
Details around the accident and Rapulana's condition remain unclear, with a string of media reports claiming that he is in a critical condition.
Speaking to Sowetan Generations:The Legacy publicist, Gaaratwe Mokhethi explained that they could not comment about the accident as details were still vague.
"I can't confirm at this stage because the details are sketchy. We can't comment under pressure because this is a sensitive matter. We have heard the rumours but cannot confirm or deny anything," she said.
According to a statement from ER24, two men were killed and four others were injured after two vehicles collided on the N14, near Diepsloot.
Apparently when paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident two men were declared dead, while critically injured patients were airlifted to hospital.
Despite confirming the collision, paramedics were not at liberty to reveal the identity of patients.
According to tweets published by SAFM and a SABC news journalist, Rapulana is expected to undergo surgery on Monday afternoon.
