Reports: Thabiso Mokhethi faces abuse accusations

Johannesburg- Former Generations actor, Thabiso Mokhethi's marriage has come into the spotlight yet again. 

Last week Thabiso and his wife, Gaaratwe Mokhethi rubbished claims that their marriage is on the rocks. (Read that story here) 

Now a Sunday Sun report claims that not only is their marriage crumbling, but Gaaratwe apparently obtained a protection order against Thabiso in October. 

The newspaper claims that it is in possession of the legal document, which was obtained to prevent Thabiso from physical, emotional and psychological abuse. 

Apparently when Gaaratwe obtained the protection order, she declared that Thabiso throttled her in December last year and head butted her in August. 

The paper reports that on 23 October he allegedly bit her lip, throttled her and slapped her hard. 

"We're seeking help by going to therapy. Those people you spoke to are not protecting Gaaratwe, they're in fact destroying her. On 23 October, I had an argument with my wife and we decided to work on whatever issues we have differently. Gaaratwe is accounted to me as her husband, not her family any more," he said. 

Gaaratwe also downplayed the claims. 

"I was forced to get a protection order by people. Where do you get that information from?" Gaaratwe questioned.
