Riky Rick thanks fans through free beats

Johannesburg - It's not Christmas yet, but we're already being spoilt with free gifts.

Rapper Riky Rick this week surprised us and his fans by dropping an instrumental version of his debut album, Family Values, for free! (Get it here).

Riky says the drop is to thank fans for their support and to inspire others.

"I've always expressed my gratitude to producers who released beat tapes and instrumental versions of their albums. People like J Dilla, Madlib and Pete Rock were technically my first producers. Being able to rap over their productions gave me confidence and motivation to dive into the world of production, Riky said in a Instagram post announcing the drop.

"This drop is dedicated to that stage of my life. When I was hustling to find dope beats on the internet so I can express myself. Enjoy," he added.

So now you can finally let the world hear your dope rendition of Boss Zonke!
