Rolene Strauss celebrates her new start with a new look

Johannesburg - Former Miss World, Rolene Strauss handed over her crown at a glitzy ceremony in China at the weekend.

Rolene, who plans to continue with her medical studies next year, has spent the past year travelling across the world to represent South Africa and the Miss World pageant with various charity initiatives.

But with a hectic year behind her, Rolene says she decided to change her look to signify the start of something new.

"With the start of a new journey and new dreams, I decided to embrace the changing season and cut my hair!Here's to new beginnings!"

And with her wedding in February, there's no doubt that Rolene is going to have all kinds of fresh starts.
