Johannesburg - The Meyiwa family will soon get their son's insurance pay out but Senzo's dad, Sam Meyiwa, is still not happy.
It was confirmed by the PSL on Tuesday afternoon that slain Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa's insurance pay out had been processed, and would be paid out to the family in the next few days.
The news must have come as a relief to Senzo's family, who have reportedly been going through financial troubles since his death last year (more on that here).
But it seems there's no pleasing Senzo's dad, Sam. Outspoken Sam says he is upset that the family were not told about the pay out from the PSL, and instead had to hear about it through the media.
Talking to Sowetan this week, Sam said: "I know nothing about it (insurance payout). He (Orlando Pirates boss Irvin Khoza) can't go to the media about this without informing us first. I also only heard about it in the media."
"Khoza and the PSL have not said a word to me, instead I received many calls from the newspapers," an irritated Sam added.
The PSL, meanwhile, maintain that the family was notified about the payout.
