Simphiwe Dana has a strict 'no guns' policy for her kids

Johannesburg - If you ever thought of buying Simphiwe Dana's kids BB guns for Christmas, you might want to re-think the idea.

You see, when it comes to guns (in any form) Simphiwe has a "not in my house" policy.

She took to Instagram this week to share how her son had come home with an invite to laser tag, and how she used the opportunity to teach him (and us) about the dangers of guns.

Posting a picture of the invite, Simphiwe wrote: "My son is upset because I said no to this invitation. I feel more parents should not encourage this in their homes. Toys or not, you're encouraging violent behavior. Say no to guns. Water guns, laser guns....will one day turn into real guns."

Most of her fans agreed with the stance, sharing how they too have banned guns in their home.
