Johannesburg - Have you ever dreamt of getting Heavy K to write you a beat that would make you a star? Well, then you better start saving!
The hit producer and DJ has almost single handedly filled the charts with his beats, making them some of the most desired in the country.
But the cost of having Heavy K work on your track may be enough to make you consider giving up on becoming a musician.
Talking to Metro FM's Tbo Touch this week, Heavy K revealed that his golden beats cost around R50K a pop (or is that drop?).
"I charge something like 50K for a beat," he told Touch.
Oh, and he also doesn't offer family discounts.
"Work is work, my brother," he says.
Still, it's cheaper than the R80K AKA alleged Anatii was going to charge him for a beat on Composure (more on that here). Next time, just call the Drum Boss, Super Mega.
