Tim Modise says goodbye to Power FM

Johannesburg - Popular radio personality, Tim Modise is set to leave Power FM after being at the station since its launch in 2013.

Speaking to The Juice on Thursday, the station's managing director Andile Khumalo confirmed Tim's departure.

In a statement issued by the station this week, it was revealed that Tim will now focus on his various business ventures and his TV talk show on Soweto TV (more on that here). He will be replaced by SABC Morning Live news anchor Ayanda-Allie Paine, who will be joined by Lawrence Tlhabane.

He will be joined at the exit gate by Thabiso Sikwane, who joined the station last year. With POWER WEEKEND presenter, Aphelele Somi taking over Thabiso's slot.

It's understood that both Thabiso and Tim left the station on good terms with Thabiso possibly standing in for the station's talent in the future.
