Johannesburg- Tributes continue to pour in for 3Sum member Koyo Bala (37) who lost the fight against anal cancer on Monday morning at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town.
Ever since the singer was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2013, he has been vocal about being determined to beat the disease. Koyo's resilience and fighting spirit until the end garnered him much love and respect from those around him.
Confirming the news to The Juice on Monday morning, Koyo's sister was emotional, saying that many family members still had to be informed about his death.
The flamboyant 37-year-old musician's fighting spirit seemed to be winning the battle after he was seen at this year's Metro FM Awards just days after undergoing gruelling chemotherapy.
As news of the singer's death spreads, fans and friends have been posting messages to social media.
