Twitter split over Thembisa's OPW debut

Johannesburg- Our Perfect Wedding presenter, Thembisa Mdoda's debut on Sunday night was received with mixed emotions from viewers. 

There was major debate on Twitter with both praise and criticism for Thembisa, who officially took over as the new presenter on Sunday night. 

Thembisa took the hot seat from presenter Ayanda Mpama, who's contract had come to an end. 

At the time, Mzansi Magic revealed that it planned to have a new presenter every season. Like many of the previous presenters, Thembisa's presenting skills were dissected on social media, with some fans even calling for Tumi Morake's return, saying her "shoes are too big to fill."

Just hours before Thembisa's debut, the actress also found herself trending on social media, after a Sunday Sun report claimed that paternity tests revealed that her ex-husband, Atandwa Kani is not the father of her twin boys. (Read more on that here) 

But it was not all doom and gloom for Thembisa, who received a lot of love as well from fans of the show.
