Johannesburg - He may have a broken foot and tons of battle scars, but it seems nothing can keep Thapelo Mokoena down.
The actor and TV personality was involved in an apparent racially motivated hit and run incident at the start of the year (more on that here).
In an emotional social media post, he detailed how he had been out for a run when he lost consciousness. He was later told by rubble workers, before being rushed to hospital, that two white men in an Audi had apparently driven into him on purpose before driving away.
Thapelo has been recovering from the incident ever since, but took to social media this week to show how well his recuperation is going
"Reminding my body who's BOSS. I might be not able to walk properly for a while, but that's no excuse no to rehabilitate the body & mind & release those good endorphins. Nobody said it would be easy, but definitely worth it," Thapelo captioned the video.
Thapelo even joked that his fancy footwear may make it into Kanye West's popular Yeezy range.
