Zahara goes triple platinum!

Johannesburg - Forget all the beef and one day golds, when it comes to selling big in Mzansi, they don't come bigger than songbird Zahara!

The Imali singer announced this week that her latest album, Country Girl, has gone triple platinum, selling over 140 000 copies!

Zahara burst back on to the music scene in 2015 with her first album since 2013's multi-platinum selling album, Phendula.

Her latest offering, Country Girl, went gold within 24 hours and was certified platinum within two weeks of its release (read more about that here).

So while hip-hop squabbles over going gold and platinum, Zahara will just be over there, in the corner, counting all her records.
