Johannesburg - Actress Zikhona Sodlaka is set to add to her film career with a role in an upcoming movie.
Although not much is known about the film at this stage, Zikhona reveals to The Juice that she has already started filming in both South Africa and Barbados.
"Yes. I am doing a movie. We're shooting in Cape Town and Barbados," she says. "When I can speak more about it, I will."
Zikhona says the film will be produced by the same team that worked on her last film, 2014's Thina Sobabili: The Two of Us.
Talking about the film, Zikhona took to Twitter to post about the struggles of keeping her hair shaved for her role.
My slow growing hair has me holding my clippers every morning.I'm even afraid of the mirror now. Then again,my new film makes it All worth it

And even though she is shy to talk about her role, she does reveal that her character is very different to the ones she has played before.. and wears a weave. Yes, a weave!
"I never play the same character twice. It's against the rules!" she tells us. "But what I can say is that I will be taking on a new personality and not a new ethnicity. I will still be black. I will be wearing a weave!"
So, even though that narrows down her character to about 3000 possible roles, we do know for sure that she won't be starring opposite baba Hugh Masekela.
