Johannesburg - The SA music industry came together to celebrate DJ Oskido this week, led by tributes from the likes of Zola and DJ Tira.
It was Oskido's birthday on Monday, with the music boss turning 48. And even though Oskido has been in the industry for decades, it seems his legacy will leave an impact on SA artists for years to come.
Local music legend, Zola, took to Instagram this week to pay tribute to him, posting a snap of himself with Oskido, calling him "My King."
"My greatest King in The Industry bra Oskido. I salute you Groot man for being there when we need you Happy Birthday," Zola wrote.
Music boss DJ Tira also paid his respects to Oskido, crediting him with helping Tira start his label, Afrotainment.
"Happy Birthday to this legend that helped me start my record label, and helped Durban launch 'Durban Kwaito Music'. Ukhule ungakhokhobi Mr Mdlongwa," Tira wrote.
So you best "believe" that Oskido is still the boss, okay?!
