17 PICS: We go behind the curtain of a breathtaking new dance production

Cape Town – Veronica Paeper's A Spartacus of Africa is a dynamic re-telling of the timeless story of a man`s fight for freedom; a prisoner who leads his countrymen to revolt and a woman who must accept her husband`s sacrifice.

Having stunned audiences in Johannesburg and Cape Town in 2015 with a cast of 100 dancers, Khachaturian`s magnificent score and the lyrical pas de deuxs, SANDT is thrilled to bring this two act ballet to the Oude Libertas Amphitheatre from 22 to 26 November in a fresh and transported form.

Featuring twenty-one of South Africa`s most talented and professional dancers.

Channel24 went behind the curtain to see the show from a different perspective.
