Guess what! Trevor Noah is a huge Pokémon Go fan!

Cape Town – South African born Trevor Noah loves Pokémon Go as much as the rest of the world and he has made no secret of it by tweeting his opinion of the mobile game app.

He recently tweeted:

So it’s no surprise that The Daily Show host was spotted on a pokérun in a park in New York City by a fan who happened to be Pokémon hunting as well.

Following her fun 20 minutes in the park with Trevor Noah, the fan – who goes by the blog name of thestarsarewaiting - shared her story on Reddit.

It started off with her response to lures she had spotted at a nearby bench, “I spotted a park with two lures just an avenue away. Naturally, I ran over there while tracking on my screen and sat down on a park bench optimally located between the lures.”

While sitting on the bench the fan noticed Trevor Noah sitting just to the left of her, swiping to catch a Pokémon.

Trying to contain her excitement, Noah pointed out to her that there was a scythe right in front of her.

That’s when thestarsarewaiting came to the realisation that it was Noah who set the lures in the first place. She wrote: “I looked to my left and sitting on the other side of the bench is Trevor Noah, swiping for pokémon on his iPad...

“Come to find out, it was him who set the lures in the first place so he could catch em all on his break.”

The fan then ended off her exciting story with, “He was incredibly nice and very into the game, and had successfully caught that killer scyther that ran away from me.”
