Steri Stumpie goes viral with its seriously smart ‘Weighed Funny Cake’ Facebook post

Cape Town – The Olympics have very, very strict advertising guidelines related to the brand.

Non-sponsors can’t even as much as mention the O-word or they could find themselves knee-deep in legal trouble.

So how can a proudbly SA brand wish its local gold medal winner congratulations without landing in hot water? By thinking out of the box of course!

Steri Stumpie got creative and posted this on their Facebook page: “Our legal team told us we’re not allowed to talk about any major global sporting events whatsoever, so we’re just going to say congratulations to Weighed Funny Cake for weaning four honey nut meteors and baking the whirled wreck chord!”
