Cape Town – Have you been wondering how the viral challenge of people kicking bottle caps off started?

It was Max Holloway, current UFC Featherweight champion, who kicked things off, after being challenged by Canadian designer Errolson Hugh.

Max did his challenge, and the Twitter video went viral; in the caption, he challenged his friend musician John Mayer to do it next.

John's video then took things to the next level when he challenged action star Jason Statham to do it next.

Our favourite version of the challenge comes from Diplo, because no one asked him to do it, but he did it anyway and we respect that energy.
