Cape Town – We went to Disney On Ice presents Worlds Of Enchantment and we took a 9-year-old with us!

What’s it all about?

The action-packed ice spectacular features four fun-filled Disney stories that showcase our favourite characters from Disney films such as Pixar’s Cars, The Little Mermaid, Pixar’s Toy Story 3 and Frozen and just can’t be missed!

1. Proudly South African

There is one South African skater out of 41 performers that is part of Disney On Ice presents Worlds Of Enchantment. Cape Town-born Quiesto Spieringshoek proudly joins the international company this winter.

2. Beetle-mania! 

Pixar's Cars to 5-year old boys is the same as The Beatles were to the world. Seriously. The excited gasps and car noises that filled the arena were enough to put you in the middle of a kiddies Grand Prix.

3. 9-year-old approval

We took a 9-year-old to watch the show and she loved it! Having never actually seen the little mermaid she said, “My favourite part was The Little Mermaid because of the bubbles and all the colours of the sea creatures".

4. Special effects

Props go out to all the special effects. From bubbles to snow to smoke and explosions, from Queen Elsa's ice castle to Mater and Lightning McQueen's screeching wheels, this show will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time!
