Meghan Markle will join Michelle Obama at a gender equality summit later this month.
According to Vanity Fair, Girl Up, a leadership initiative empowering young women and encouraging gender equality and social change, announced on Twitter the duchess would be speaking at the three-day digital event.
The event marks the first engagement Meghan will attend since stepping down from the royal firm.

Others, besides Michelle Obama, who will attend the event include close friend of Meghan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, as well as COO of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg, and human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad.
The news comes shortly after Harry and Meghan signed with the Obamas and Clintons' speaking agency, the Harry Walker Agency.
The couple has been busy in recent weeks focusing on their existing patronages and holding talks about racial justice amid protests in the US.
Just this week they shared their conversation with the Queen's Commonwealth Trust youth leaders and opened about but the need to have "uncomfortable" conversations about race to affect change.
