There's something rather endearing about Viscount Tewksbury - the young flower-picking, mushroom-foraging lord Enola meets on her journey to find her mom.
Of course, Enola affectionately calls him a "nincompoop" - "a useless boy, but I've rid myself of him," she says in the film - while Louis tells me during our Zoom call on a late Wednesday afternoon, reviews have described his character as "effeminate", as if that's a bad thing.
But it's no matter. See, this movie is for the boys who like flowers and foraging and the brave, independent girls who dress up in boys' clothes, explains Louis during our short conversation.
