Have you ever wondered which music video has been viewed the most on YouTube? Or what about which video has reached the one billion view mark the quickest? Well, views are a big deal in the YouTube world, and the platform keeps track of these things. But the list is always changing.
Here are some the music videos which hold some of YouTube's biggest records as of July 2020.
Most viewed music video of all time
Right now, according to YouTube's stats, the most viewed music video is Lui Fonsi's Despacito which features Daddy Yankee. The video has a record-breaking 6.8 billion views.
Second place goes to Ed Sheeran. His Shape of You music video has 4.8 billion views.
And holding the third spot is Wiz Khalifa's See You Again featuring Charlie Puth.
Most viewed music video in 24 hours
K-Pop group Blackpink recently broke YouTube's record for the music video with the most views in just 24 hours. The girl band's How You Like That raked in an impressive 86.3 million views in the first day, knocking fellow K-Pop stars, BTS, off the top spot.
BTS and Halsey's moved to second with 74.6 million views on their Boy With Luv video. And in third place is Taylor Swift's ME! featuring Brendon Urie with 65 million views.
K-Pop groups hold seven of the top 10 spots in this category.
Music video to reach 1 billion views in the shortest amount of time
When Adele dropped her hit Hello in 2015, it took only 88 days for 1 billion people to view it. She takes the top spot in this category.
Second place is a tie between Ed Sheeran's Shape of You and Lui Fonsi's Despacitio. Both videos reached one billion views in just 97 days.
J Balvin and Willy William's Mi Gente comes in third, taking a total of 103 days to rake in one billion views.
Bonus - artist with the most subscribers
Right now, the most followed artist channel is Justin Bieber's. The Intentions singer has 55.2 million subscribers.
