South Africa's Natasha Joubert has touched down in Hollywood, Florida and will be representing the country at Miss Universe on 16 May.

Zozibini Tunzi will crown her successor during the three-hour event, and the competition will air live from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on 16 May at 20:00 ET (17 May at 3:00 SAST).

Natasha left for Miss Universe on Monday and has been sharing her experience with fans and followers on social media.

According to Angelopedia, the remainder of the delegates are expected to arrive today, with fittings and photo shoots to take place this week.

Monday will kick off with rehearsals and choreography, followed by the national costume competition on Thursday. Leading up to the grand finale, the delegates will also take part in interviews and on-camera rehearsals. (See the full schedule here)

Natasha shared some of the moments from her first day on Instagram, which also included hotel check-in, a Covid-19 test, and a quick photo captured by a hotel staff member! 

For her first day of official Miss Universe activities, Natasha wore a one-shoulder tank top and wide-leg pants. The garments were made by her mother and from Natasha's fashion label, Natalia Jeffery.
