Big Brother Mzansi season 3 housemate Themba 'Broly' Mabaso's brand-new reality show Themba: My Inked World is coming to Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) next month.

In September, news that Mabaso would star in his reality show was shared at the MultiChoice Group showcase. Themba: My Inked World premieres on the channel on Friday, 3 February, at 20:00.

"Before entering the Big Brother house, Themba has lost everything after his tattoo parlour burned down. Now, with a new home partially paid for by his fan, a music EP on streaming service and in a high-profile relationship with BBMzansiseason 3 winner Mphowabadimo, he's determined to soar to the greatest heights of his life," a press statement reads. "But, how will he deal with the pressure of life in the spotlight, all while trying to grow his new tattoo business and strike a delicate balance between the love of his life and his ex, who is also the mother of his children?"

Viewers will also see Mabaso in different facets – as he grows as a father, dealing with his ex, Nqobile, who is still in love with him, and its impact on his new relationship all while steering the ship of his renewed tattoo business.

Famous faces to look forward to in the show include DJ Tira, his mentor and producer.

"As a channel that invests in local content, we are excited that the very successful Big Brother Mzansi season 3 has resulted in a spinoff that will now take viewers closer to the story of one of the viewers' favourites. It speaks strongly to the connection viewers had with the show," M-Net local entertainment channel director Shirley Adonisi says in the press statement. "A growing platform like Big Brother is massive, and it's always exciting when we see our talent growing and moving on to the next thing – whether in the entertainment industry or elsewhere – after their time on the show."
