Johannesburg - American rapper Cardi B has finally opened up about what her and rapper, Nicki Minaj were fighting about.

Last month at New York Fashion Week, Nicki and Cardi got into a physical fight while attending the Harper's Bazaar Icons event – which left Cardi with a torn dress and a huge bump over her eye, according to TMZ.

In an exclusive interview with W Magazine, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker said she and Nicki have had quite a few arguments, but what tipped her over the edge was when Nicki “suggested” that she isn’t a good mother to her and Offset’s three-month-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.

“For a while now she’s been taking a lot of shots at me,” she said. “I spoke to her twice before, and we came to an understanding. But she kept it going.”

Nicki liked and then later unliked a tweet disparaging Cardi’s mothering skills, which is something Minaj has denied, but Cardi wasn’t having.

“I was going to make millions off my Bruno Mars tour, and I sacrificed that to stay with my daughter. I love my daughter. I’m a good-a** f*****g mom. So for somebody that don’t have a child to like that comment? So many people want to say that party wasn’t the time or the place, but I’m not going to catch another artist in the grocery store or down the block,” she said in the interview.

Cardi continued to stress just how much her daughter has taken up all her time and thoughts, that’s all she’s thinking about.

“My baby. That’s all I give a f**k about right now. I’m thinking about how my money’s going to last so this girl is 21 and put in college. I’m thinking about investments. I’m thinking about five years from now and about the craziest shit like, how am I going to discipline this girl?”

One thing she’s pretty certain about, however, is how strict of a mother she’ll be.

“I’m going to be very strict. Like, you can have whatever you want, but you can’t do whatever you want.”

Following the fight with Cardi, Nicki took to her Apple Music radio show Queend said that she would never speak ill of anyone's child.

“I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never… speak ill on anyone’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown sh*t,” she said.
